Operating company
The operating companies currently contracted to oversee, co-ordinate and undertake all cyclic, routine, winter service and emergency response are Amey (for the SW part of the network), BEAR (for the NE and SE parts of the network) and Scotland TranServ (for the NW part of the network). They also oversee and co-ordinate maintenance works carried out by contractors on discrete contracts, and works by utility companies (statutory undertakers)

TRNM
Transport Scotland's Trunk Roads Network Management.

Traffic Scotland
Formerly NADICS, Traffic Scotland manages Scotland's intelligent transport system, which provides a continuous service to the public. Key functions of Traffic Scotland are monitoring, controlling and informing road users.
